Soil taipei is an inviting space for creativity, much like soil itself, embracing diverse voices from different nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds.
As you step inside, you'll find a washitsu filled with vinyl records. This is a space where coffee and vinyl resonate together harmoniously. Hidden within the mysterious downstairs area, there's also a vinyl record store. The lighting in the café delicately highlights every corner, transforming seemingly unnoticeable spaces into essential elements of the ambiance.

The owner of Soil, Allen, is also the owner of Tiny Tail and Tiny Tail Coffee Bar . As the proud owner of two Aries grinders, Allen has placed them in both Soil and tinytail_coffee. At Soil, the Aries is dedicated to grinding single-origin beans for pour-over coffee, while at tinytail_coffee, it’s used for single-origin espresso. These two different approaches highlight Aries' versatility in supporting both espresso and pour-over brewing.

Behind the counter at Soil, you’ll also find the Katze scale, seamlessly integrated into the workflow. Whether for hand-brewed coffee or espresso, Katze provides baristas with a powerful and reliable brewing companion.

SOIL 代表的是土壤，而Soil.taipei，是個溫暖的創作之地，如土壤般包容來自不同國籍、文化、背景的多元聲音。

走進店內有個和室空間，裡面擺設著黑膠唱片，這裡正是咖啡與黑膠共鳴的複合式空間，樓下的神秘空間也藏著一間黑膠唱片店。店內的燈飾點綴在各個角落，那些不起眼的角落成了最不可或缺的存在。

Soil的主理人Allen同時也是小尾咖啡、小尾巴咖啡的主理人，擁有兩台Aries的Allen，將Aries放在Soil與小尾咖啡店內，而Aries在這裡扮演的是磨手沖單品豆的角色，在小尾咖啡則是拿來出杯單品義式，兩間店，不同的使用方法，凸顯Aries在研磨時可以支援義式與手沖的強項。在Soil的吧檯內，還有Katze隱身在其中，對於手沖、義式使用，都給予吧檯手在出杯時一個強力的後盾。
